What is Security Products Group at OCI

OCI Security Products Group is building comprehensive product portfolios to protect customers cloud environments with innovative approaches and hyperscale efficiency. Our core security pillars are: customer isolation data encryption security controls and visibility. Our vision is to build the most secure cloud environment for our customers to build their applications confidently on top of OCI. We are making strategic decision to heavily invest on detecting system vulnerabilities and threat activities correlate and analyze problems then remediate notify and block attacks from malicious actors against customer cloud environment.

Responsibilities

Lead large complex projects end-to-end with the ability to break down programs into manageable milestones and deliver against tight deadlines

Define clear program scope success metrics timelines and communication plans for complex and ambiguous problem spaces

Facilitate communication and alignment across engineering product security compliance and operations stakeholders. Influence architectural and security decisions balanced by business needs and technical constraints

Gather complex sometimes unstructured data inputs from multiple sources (both internally and externally) and identify new data sources that will enhance business outcomes and support strategic and tactical objectives

Ensure that stated and unstated goals business issues concerns and priorities are surfaced understood and addressed

Build relationships and collaborate globally with stakeholders and partners to deliver outcomes across the organization ensuring a shared understanding of progress and performance

Prepare and deliver regular updates executive communications and detailed program artifacts keeping stakeholders informed at all levels

Establish and improve program management processes to increase transparency execution speed and accountability

Partner with engineering leaders to continuously improve operational excellence incident response and program delivery

Responsibilities

Qualifications

7 years of technical program management experience preferably in cloud infrastructure security or distributed systems

Experience with public cloud environments (OCI AWS Azure GCP IaaS SaaS and PaaS services)

Proven success delivering secure compliant and highly available services at scale with multiple cross-functional stakeholders

Demonstrated ability to dive deep into technical details and influence architectural and design decisions

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a track record of executive reporting and stakeholder management

Strong analytical and organizational skills with a bias toward action and outcomes

Experience working in Agile environments and leading large-scale security or cloud infrastructure programs

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Manage the development and implementation process of company products involving departmental and cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct program schedules and monitor budget/spending. Drive projects end-to-end from initiation through delivery and maintenance. Organize assign track and manage activities to ensure completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints and where applicable provide technical support and direction.

Work can be non-routine and complex involving the application of advanced technical/business skills and project management methodologies in software development. Candidate will be a leading contributor individually and as a team member providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 5 years of project management product design or related experience preferred.

Position will be located in Nashville TN or Austin TX.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $90100 to $199500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience market conditions and locations as well as reflect Oracles differing products industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
