Job Summary

VAL-CO a leader in commercial poultry egg and swine production equipment specializing in world-famous poultry watering and feeding systems is currently looking for a Warehouse Coordinator at our Distribution Center in Coldwater Ohio.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responsible for the preparation and delivery of all documents used to move freight in warehouse/cross-dock
Scan Shipping documents and load slips into company software
Verify packets and all paperwork complies with established US Customs Rules and Regulations pursuant to the SOP
Sort out overages shortages damage and mis-loads and provide finding to DC Manager
Assure load is not overweight and CBM is accurate
Continually update system with current status of each load
Act as a point person to relay carrier concerns or is issues to customer service team
Must be able to receive and communicate proper distribution of freight to warehouse management
Must be able to identify exception freight on all warehouse paperwork to distribute properly
Ensure timely communication

Requirements:

High School Diploma
Proficient Computer skills- ES Software Microsoft Excel PODS and Outlook
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Strong analytical skills with ability to multi-task
Ability to work within schedules/deadlines
Ability to interact with employees in customers in an appropriate manner
Detail oriented well organized and ability to work with others
Time driven to ensure tasks are completed with a sense of urgency
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Practice safe work habits
Ability to work in a team environment
Willingness to work overtime when necessary to complete duties
Regular and predictable attendance
Ability to work in a consistent state of alertness and in a safe manner
