Walmart Inc. is seeking a proven executive to serve as Vice President Fulfillment Network Optimization reporting to the Vice President of Supply Chain Strategy and Network Designa role critical to shaping the strategic direction and operational excellence of our eCommerce ecosystem. This position is based at our New Home Office in Bentonville AR where visionary thinking and innovative technology converge to drive the future of retail.As Vice President you will be responsible for the comprehensive design development and ongoing evolution of Walmarts fulfillment network. This executive leadership role demands oversight of investment planning network expansion and execution strategy all aimed at delivering speed efficiency and resilience across Walmarts eCommerce channels.
Central to this position is the integration of Inventory Optimization & Simulation with eCommerce Asset Strategy consolidating these functions under a unified vision for holistic network optimization.
What youll do...
As the architect of Walmarts network transformation you will ensure that multibillion-dollar investments in automation and capacity provide measurable improvements in performance customer experience and competitive advantage The fulfillment network must support one million SKUs available for next-day delivery to 75% of the population reflecting the scale and ambition of this role. The position requires a warm collaborative leadership approach complemented by deep expertise in supply chain optimization digital intelligence and strategic asset management. You will work closely with senior leaders across Walmarts global operations fostering innovation and operational discipline to advance our mission of helping customers save money and live better. You will focus on deploying automation solutions throughout the eCommerce network and leading efforts in designing simulating and implementing multi-tier inventory solutions and flow strategies. leading efforts in forecasting item demand by location and enabling low-cost forward inventory deployment. Leveraging machine learning and data science you will build an optimized network of nodes including Inbound Consolidation Centers Last Mile Sortation Centers DCs FCs and micro fulfillment centersto handle anticipated volume by geography and fulfillment method with automation that improves service capacity and cost efficiency. Finally you will drive the strategy for an integrated fulfillment platform enabling flexibility in product flow across the network. This approach ensures full utilization of inventory pools and network assets optimizing the path from supplier to store and home and positioning Walmart to deliver superior service and value to our customers. The annual salary range for this position is $300000.00 - $525000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
