Job Summary

Role and Responsibilities

BI Solution Development: Design and implement BI solutions that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Data Modeling: Create and maintain data models that optimize the storage and retrieval of data for reporting purposes.
Dashboard Creation: Develop interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI Looker) to visualize data effectively.
Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Data Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy consistency and reliability of data used in reporting and analysis.
Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions to ensure timely access to data.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of BI processes data sources and reporting standards.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior BI engineers and team members.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering Computer Science or Information Technology.
6 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts data visualization techniques and cloud tools.
Proficiency in BI tools such as Looker studio Tableau Power BI Qlik or incorta.
Understanding data storytelling principles to create impactful dashboards.
Knowledge of designing intuitive and user-friendly BI interfaces.
Support ad-hoc data analysis requests and provide recommendations based on insights.
Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
Hands-on experience with ETL development and data warehouse solutions (e.g. Snowflake Redshift BigQuery Azure Synapse).
Collaborate with business analysts stakeholders and IT teams to gather BI requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
