ABAP Developer SAP Team (Contractor Spain-Only 100% Remote)
Location: Spain (must be living in Spain)
Work arrangement: Contractor (autónomo / B2B)
Remote: 100% remote within Spain
Language: Spanish (C1) and English B2

About the role
We are looking for an ABAP Developer with strong hands-on programming skills to join our SAP team. You will build enhance and maintain ABAP solutions across our SAP landscape collaborating with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver reliable performant and maintainable code.
Key responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain ABAP objects (reports interfaces conversions enhancements forms).
- Implement OO ABAP CDS views BAPIs/BADIs user exits and enhancements following best practices.
- Troubleshoot optimize performance and ensure code quality (peer reviews unit testing).
- Work closely with functional teams (e.g. FI/CO SD MM) to translate requirements into technical designs.
- Prepare technical specs and documentation; support deployments and hypercare.
- Adhere to SAP development standards transport management and version control processes.
Requirements (Must-have)
- Solid experience in ABAP programming (classic and OO ABAP).
- Strong technical SAP expertise (enhancements integrations data structures performance tuning).
- Based in Spain and available to work standard Spain business hours.
- Comfortable working as a remote contractor (autónomo / B2B).
- English B2 (and Spanish for team interaction and documentation).
Nice to have (Optional)
- Project management experience in SAP environments.
- Knowledge of the SAP FI module and typical finance integration points.
- SAP certifications (any module or ABAP).
- Experience with S/4HANA (CDS AMDP RAP) and modern development tooling.
- Exposure to integration (IDocs RFC OData REST APIs) and testing frameworks.
