Job Description
- Executes daily and monthly tasks to deliver on the execution of the entire payroll cycle in compliance with external regulations and internal policies. This includes but is not limited to adjustments for commission allowances individual income tax sick leave pay holiday pay taxable fringe benefits etc
- Reconciles and reviews payroll prior to transmit to payroll vendor
- Responds to inquiries regarding pay calculations social benefits related and contacting with payroll vendors in each company in Vietnam
- PIT tax management to ensure compliance with the local related laws and regulations. This includes but is not limited to dependent declarations monthly filing Finalization
- SHUI management to ensure compliance with local laws including not limited to register/deregister declare sick/maternity benefits insurance books/HI card SHUI fee management etc.
- Work as contact window for local and corporate SOX auditors
- Responsible for entering invoices into SAP system for payment monthly
- Participates in implementation of best practice in accordance with company policies
- Administer the day-to-day operations of benefits programs(group insurance various allowances dental vision short-term and long-term disability workers compensation travel and accidental plan etc.)
- Managed HR vendors in Vietnam such as benefits vendor payroll vendor and T&A system vendor to ensure compliance standardization efficiency and accuracy
- Drive continuous Process Improvement/Operational Excellence in Payroll & Leave Management process.
- Reviews proposals and chooses payroll healthcare and insurance vendors that provide the best value for the company
- Stay up to date on changing policies technologies services and state and federal regulations
- Answer enquiries related to compensation and benefits from employees and business units
- Assist in the furnishing salary and benefits data for submission of the annual compensation and benefits survey data (Mercer)
- Making payroll related reports as required
- Keep up-to-date headcount reports and employee files
- Recruit for assigned groups. Work with business leaders and managers to develop creative cost-effective recruitment strategies.
- Onboarding and offboarding procedures
- Labor contract management
- Handle with Expats related matters such as work permit visa apartment
- Make labor report as required by government
- Organize health check
- Assistance in event organization
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent English communication
- Excellent skills with Excel. Knowledge of Workday is preferred
- Ability to maintain a strict standard of confidentiality in handling sensitive information reports and correspondence
- Understands proper taxation and deduction for compliance with country or local applicable regulations in Vietnam
- Understand about local labor law & Insurance law
- Ability to work under tight deadlines as well as successfully prioritize multiple tasks and customers in a fast-paced payroll environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical acumen
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Motivated to self-educate; able to identify and report relevant issues to management for timely and accurate resolution
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and work collaboratively in a team environment
