Brief Job Overview/Summary The Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) program seeks a dedicated and student-centered professional to serve as a Temporary Part-Time Success Coach. This position plays a vital role in advancing the academic achievement persistence and holistic development of EOF scholars. The Success Coach will provide direct support to students on Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Academic Warning and Academic collaboration with the Student Success Coach and Associate Director will also assist with the development and implementation of programs and services that foster student engagement retention and success. |
Descriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Conduct proactive outreach to students on SAP Academic Warning and Academic Probation status to ensure timely intervention and support. Engage in individual coaching sessions that address academic personal and social concerns and assist students in developing tailored action plans. Refer students to appropriate campus resources including academic advising tutoring financial aid and wellness services. Document student interactions and progress in designated systems to ensure effective case management and accountability. Conduct weekly study-hall hours to assist with first-year and students on SAP Academic Warning and Academic Probation. Manage daily administrative tasks related to student records communications and scheduling. Support the coordination promotion and delivery of EOF and programming including workshops group sessions and community-building initiatives. Collaborate with professional staff and faculty to ensure consistent student-centered support and follow-up. Contribute to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for EOF scholars.

Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree. Demonstrated experience working with college students particularly those from educationally or economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Strong organizational skills attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to student development and success. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Google Workspace and student information or case management systems.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with academic progress monitoring and student retention initiatives. Familiarity with EOF or similar state/federally funded access programs. Experience facilitating workshops or co-curricular programming. Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings and weekends. |
