Job Title

About your role:
As a Systems Engineer you will play a pivotal role in designing implementing and managing Fiservs complex systems infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure that these systems operate efficiently reliably and securely. You will work closely with a team of engineers collaborating with various departments to align system capabilities with business needs ultimately contributing to the companys strategic goals.

What youll do:

• Lead the design implementation and management of complex systems infrastructure to support production services and platform initiatives.
• Develop and maintain system documentation including configurations operational runbooks and troubleshooting procedures.
• Monitor system performance identify bottlenecks and implement performance tuning and capacity planning measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development security QA and product) to integrate new technologies and ensure smooth deployments.
• Conduct system assessments implement security controls and support compliance activities for infrastructure components.
• Provide advanced technical support and guidance to resolve incidents and reduce mean time to recovery.
• Stay current with industry trends and recommend technology improvements to increase reliability and efficiency.

Experience youll need to have:

• 4 years experience in systems engineering.
• Experience with Venafi Trust Protection Platform.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible or Terraform.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
• Bachelors degree and/or equivalent combination of education work and/or military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

• Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Experience with Linux and Windows server environments

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
