Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Hyannis MA
Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $2200 per week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking RadiologicTechnologistfor an exciting Travel or Local job inHyannis MA.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and set up radiology equipment and ensure proper functioning for examinations.
Select appropriate transducers type and frequency for each examination.
Obtain review and retrieve patient history and clinical data to assist physicians in diagnosis.
Position patients correctly and adjust immobilization devices to achieve optimum imaging views.
Explain procedures to patients answer questions and provide reassurance to reduce anxiety.
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
Requisition and maintain necessary supplies and equipment to support departmental operations.
Coordinate workflow to maximize productivity while following departmental policies.
Evaluate ultrasound and radiologic images for technical quality.
Maintain accurate radiology records and properly label all images.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
Registered by the ARRT (or registry eligible).
Licensed to practice in the State of Massachusetts.
Current BLS certification.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
