We are looking for a full-timeMaintenance Technician position to repair and maintain residential and commercial building in Downtown Oahu. All applicants must successfully pass a background check essential to possess a valid drivers license along with a reliable vehicle previous hands-on maintenance experience light plumbing electricalHVAC carpentry and painting drywall and grounds maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs (painting plumbing electrical mechanical and heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) painting drywall and grounds maintenance
- Able to access a small space of 18-inch x 18-inch
- Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are working in order and fixed asnecessary.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with property managers vendors customers etc.
- Involves constant movement standing walking bending able to stretch during shifts
- Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are working in order and fixed as necessary.
- Able to lift push pull a minimum of 50lbs up to 75lbs.
- Walk stand for a period of time and bend throughout the shift.
- Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are working in order and fixed as necessary
- Create and maintain work orders
- Create and maintain purchase orders
- Perform any additional maintenance related duties as required byHBM supervisor/property management
Skills/Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- Must pass background check
- Must have a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle
- Customer service oriented
- General Maintenance experience
- Basic mathematics
- Previous experience with creating and maintaining work orders and purchase orders
- Attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude
- Troubleshooting abilities
- Strong organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and grow
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (40 hours a week) **Must be available to work 3 Saturdays / 3 months of the year ( total of 9 Saturdays annually)**
Compensation: $20.00/per hour
