What Youll Do
The primary function of the Sterile Processing Technician is to clean test adjust assemble and sterilize reusable medical supplies instruments and equipment.
- Responsibilities:
- Stores and distributes patient care medical instruments and equipment to hospital units
- Stocks medical supply storage areas
- Performs analyzes and documents sterilizer functions
- Tests vacuums chemical and biological indicators
- Evaluates and inspects equipment
- Answers telephones
- Handles face to face interactions with patients and hospital personnel
- Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned
Who Were Looking For
- Six months experience in a medical setting preferred.
- Certification in field is preferred.
- Must have a current American Heart Association approved BLS card within three months of hire and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.
- Graduate of certified Central Service Technician program or previous experience as Sterile Processing Technician preferred familiarity with hospital supplies equipment instruments.
What We Offer
Our total rewards package includes
- Pay Range: $21.50 - $34.70/hour (based on experience)
- Shift Differentials:$2$4/hour for nights and weekends
- PRN Differential: 10% differential in addition to base rate salary

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors including a candidates qualifications skills competencies and experience.
