Level One Help Desk Technician
Location: Farmington Hills MI (Onsite)

About the Firm:
Stillman Law Office is a reputable and dynamic law firm based in Farmington Hills Michigan with a focus on providing exceptional legal services. We are seeking a motivated Level One Help Desk Technician to join our IT team and support the firms technical needs. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues managing hardware and software and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for the team. This is an onsite position Monday through Friday with some weekend availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support for hardware software and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot desktop printer and peripheral device problems.
  • Assist in the setup configuration and deployment of office equipment.
  • Manage user accounts including password resets and access permissions.
  • Track and document issues using a ticketing system and escalate as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance software updates and system backups.
  • Communicate effectively with end-users to resolve issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to improve processes and streamline workflow.
  • Provide occasional after-hours or weekend support when necessary.

Candidate Attributes:

  • Strong work ethic with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and customer service focus.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience and Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
  • Prior help desk or technical support experience is a plus but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in handling IT troubleshooting tasks efficiently.

Schedule:
  • Full-time Monday to Friday. Occasional weekends as required.
