Job Summary

Job Title: Travel RN Medical Surgical

Location: Seneca SC

Duration: 13 weeks (extendable)

Shift: 4x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)

Pay Rate: $2561 weekly gross

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in a high-acuity hospital environment. The ideal candidate will provide patient-centered care to a diverse med-surg population ensuring optimal outcomes through evidence-based nursing practices and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a medical-surgical setting.
Monitor assess and document patient conditions and treatment progress using electronic health records.
Administer medications perform wound care and assist with procedures as required.
Collaborate effectively with physicians interdisciplinary teams and support staff to achieve quality care outcomes.
Educate patients and families on disease management recovery processes and discharge plans.
Uphold hospital safety infection control and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience required.
Proficiency in EPIC EMR system with at least 1 year of hands-on experience.
Strong clinical assessment organizational and communication skills.
Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and hospital workflows.

Certifications & Licensure:

Active RN License (South Carolina or Compact State) Required
AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) Required
