Job Summary:
The Director of Player Development is responsible for creating a culture of improvement at the Club. The primary focus and goal for the Director is to generate increased levels of golf participation in social practice and learning programs increase Member value and appeal of the Club to prospects (Members and golfers) improve retention and contribute to the development of a more vibrant and enjoyable golf community.
Day-to-Day:
- Management and mentorship of Player Development Professionals and any other resources participating within the scope of player development to deliver and execute player development activities.
- Management of engagement activities and allocation of resources to ensure the execution of those engagement activities.
- Creation and management of a new membership pipeline including management of the conversion to member.
- Management of a personal care group of allocated golfers responsible for their retention activation and participation.
- Execute and manage junior adult new golfer and social coaching programs with minimum numbers participating.
- Execute and manage active marketing events.
About You:
- 5 years as a Golf Professional.
- PGA/LPGA Profession Certification completion.
- College degree preferred.
- Direct responsibility with financial responsibilities.
- Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Creativity attention to detail strong organizational and time management skills.
- Possess a passion for providing high-quality Member service and commitment to exceeding expectations.
