On Call - Mental Health Clinician

Division/Program:

Adult Inpatient Crisis Residential Treatment Facility

Starting Compensation:

31.46 to 33.46 USD Per Hour

Working Location:

Fresno CA

Working Hours/Shift:

Per Diem / On Call Shifts available: After 5 pm (7 days per week) Minimum Availability: 4 days per month (including 2 weekend days)

What you bring to SBHG:

Masters degree in social work marriage & family therapy or psychology from an accredited college or university required.
One (1) year direct service experience in a mental health setting required (student internship and/or practicum time may be substituted).
Experience in an inpatient therapy setting preferred.
Mental Health Specialist II: Licensed as AMFT ACSW or APCC required.

How you will make a difference:

Prepares comprehensive psychosocial evaluations and clinical documentation including intake progress and discharge notes.
Assesses client readiness for admission and discharge coordinating with treatment teams and case managers.
Provides individual and group therapy based on client needs.
Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning and leads/co-leads therapeutic groups.

Division/Program Overview:

24/7 inpatient voluntary program
16-bed facility for adults (ages 18-59)
Rehabilitation/recovery services including substance use rehabilitation services
Pre-vocational or vocational counseling
Medication evaluation and support services

In accordance with California law the grade for this position is 26.16 - 41.85. Placement within the grade is determined based on experience internal equity and other factors permitted by law.
