Job Summary

Who are you

You are a caring and dedicated professional that is invested in providing crisis services to our youths and their families within the local community. You thrive in situations that require your ability to handle complex needs for clients such as conducting mental health assessments stabilization crisis intervention and treatment facilitation for youths and families that may be experiencing severe and urgent psychological and/or environmental needs.

You have a proven ability to manage time effectively and adhere to demanding schedules - Provide crisis intervention services within 30-60 minutes of initial call for treatment. Provide follow up and stabilization services to your clients for four to six weeks on all cases that receive crisis intervention service. Respond to all emergency requests for service which includes phone calls walk-ins and referrals from community sources. Conduct face-to-face interviews with clients to determine presenting issues and services the children and/or family may need.

Provide resources and linkage to services for your clients and immediate family members to stabilize and develop a specific plan for transition to treatment including immediate safety plan. Complete referrals to other agency programs or external service providers as needed.

You have:

  • HSD/GED
  • Previous experience working with at risk youths and providing crisis services
  • A valid drivers license and the ability to maintain auto insurance as you will be required to use your own personal vehicle within the local community
  • CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain one and the willingness to submit background check and fingerprinting
  • Ability to regularly use various computer apps including Microsoft Office our HRIS EHR and other online systems with multiple logins often simultaneously.

Preferred:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in social services related field
