Job Summary
Kanawha Scales and Systems is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented C#/.NET Software Developer to join our dedicated team in Poca WV. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing maintaining and customizing our software solutions to meet the specific needs of our clients. This role requires a strong technical background excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative/Team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain efficient reusable and reliable C# code within framework.
- Integrate data storage solutions primarily using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Collaborate with clients and project managers to gather requirements and customize our base software products.
- Manage software deployment and create installation packages using InstallShield.
- Apply knowledge of network administration to support software functionality and deployment.
- Ensure the best possible performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to these problems.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience with C# and framework.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server including database design T-SQL replication and performance tuning.
- Solid knowledge of network administration principles and practices.
- Proven ability to customize existing software products based on diverse customer requirements.
- Proficiency with InstallShield for creating software installers.
- Must be able to work on-site at our Poca WV office.
