The opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Field Service Engineer to join our this role you will be responsible for testing & commissioning of Grid Station Control & Automation (RTU/SAS) equipment. Having experience with Protection & Telecom (SDH/PLC) System will be an advantage. Candidate shall be adaptable to learn & enhance expertise and knowledge related to Grid Station equipment as per job requirement.

How youll make an impact

• You will be focused on providing technical services to customers including commissioning supervising installation and testing of products/equipment including Identifying and correcting more complex problems associated with start-up. Researching evaluating and recommending new products or equipment upgrades that will meet customer needs.
• Developing on-going relationships with customers to secure future business. May resolve/troubleshoot implementation problems and/or train customers on the features of the equipment they have purchased
• A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
• Executing testing & commissioning of Grid Station Control & Automation IEDs/Equipment according to manufacturer manuals.
• Hands on experience on Relion series Siprotec MiCOM etc. Control Protection IEDs PCM600 Digsi5 etc. and other software required for commissioning of IEDs.
• Responsibilities may include Managing projects / processes working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals. The problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
• You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your background

• A bachelors degree in electrical engineering from a reputable institute.
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the relevant field.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English is required.
