Were Single Quantum and were on a mission to redefine whats possible in photon detection. As our company scales up were looking for adetail-oriented and proactiveFinance Officerto join our Finance team in Delft for 06FTE (3 days a week).

To support our continued growth we are looking for a drivenanddetail-oriented Finance Officer to strengthen our Finance team someone who thrives in a fast-paced high-tech environment and takes pride in turning numbers into meaningful insights that help shape our future.
Note: This role is a part time position (06 FTE / 3 days a week).
What You Will Be Doing
Youll be part of a small close-knit Finance team that keeps our fast-growing company running smoothly. No two days are the same some days youll dive deep into numbers others youll help colleagues solve practical issues.
Heres what your role will look like:
- Processing invoices from vendors and service providers
- Managing the finance inbox
- Reconciling bank transactions and prepare payment runs
- Handling employee reimbursements and expense reports
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities
- Keeping our accounting systems and records accurate and organised
- Efficiently resolving invoice or payment issues before escalation
- Assist with other administrative or ad hoc tasks to help the team and company operate efficiently
Your profile and requirements
- A degree (MBO/HBO) in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field
- A strong attention to detail and accuracy
- 25 years of experience in a finance or accounting role (experience in an international or scale-up environment is a plus)
- Working knowledge of financial processes
- Excellent command of English both written and spoken (Dutch is a plus)
- The ability to manage multiple tasks meet deadlines and support a small but growing finance team
- A proactive attitude
- Experience with ERP software
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of accounting principles
