The Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing accurate and timely payroll processing for a dedicated site or legal entity in compliance with internal policies and all applicable legal tax and social insurance regulations. This role acts as a subject matter expert (SME) on payroll operations systems and country-specific requirements. It plays a key role in supporting employees partnering with HR and Finance and driving process improvements.
Provide second-level payroll support and handle complex employee inquiries via the myHR service portal.
Ensure the consistent and timely execution of payroll for employees interns and expatriates considering country-specific compliance requirements.
Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for payroll systems and processes; liaise with internal functions (e.g. HR Finance IT) and external vendors.
Support system training and knowledge transfer to team members or stakeholders.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data accuracy and issue resolution across the end-to-end payroll process.
Contribute to continuous improvement and harmonization of payroll processes and tools.
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and responding to payroll-related inquiries.
Provide coverage for other Payroll Specialists when needed.
Required Qualifications
Qualification: completed professional education or completed studies
Minimum 12 years of experience in payroll or related field.
Strong knowledge of local labor law tax and social insurance legislation.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous business-facing HR HR COE HR Operations orrole-related experience preferred
Experience working with payroll systems (e.g. ADP SAP) and proficient in Excel.
