Duties: Spearhead the maintenance and enhancement of our safety protocols and programs. Design implement and monitor comprehensive safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations. Perform regular inspections of facilities equipment and work processes to identify potential hazards and risks. Develop corrective action plans and oversee their implementation. Coordinate and conduct safety training programs for employees including orientation sessions for new hires and ongoing training to reinforce safety protocols. Investigate workplace accidents incidents and near misses. Analyze root causes and recommend preventive measures to reduce the risk of recurrence. Collect and analyze safety data including injury reports near-miss reports and safety performance metrics. Use data insights to identify trends and areas for improvement. Stay updated on relevant safety regulations and standards. Ensure company compliance with OSHA EPA and other regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain emergency response plans including evacuation procedures first aid protocols and communication strategies during emergencies. Work with the project management team to evaluate and drive the work from a safety-focused approach. Promote a culture of safety throughout the organization by fostering awareness accountability and continuous improvement in safety practices. *Telecommuting permitted 60%: work may be performed in any location in the U.S. Domestic and international travel required 40% of the time to U.S. Canada and E.U.
Job Requirements: Bachelors degree (U.S. or Foreign Equivalent) in Industrial Engineering Occupational Health and Safety Environmental Science or related field and five (5) years of experience in occupational health and safety. Must have five (5) years of experience in Occupational Health and Safety management; and workplace emergency response planning. Must have three (3) years of experience in Workplace EHS Trainings & Recordkeeping; Environmental Management; and Environmental health and safety risk assessment and management. Must have two (2) years of experience in Workplace Hazard Data Analysis & Reporting; and Workplace ergonomics. Must have six (6) months of experience inData center health and safety concerns.
