DescriptionWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP)either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistantwith a strong interest in breast and gynecologic oncology to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside six dedicated oncologists two experienced APPs and a collaborative care team including social workers nurses and support staff.
The APP will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive patient-centered care across the continuumfrom diagnosis through treatment and survivorship. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who thrives in a team-based environment and is passionate about oncology care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in collaboration with oncologists including assessments treatment planning and follow-up.
- Manage oncology-related symptoms and treatment side effects.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and care planning meetings.
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis treatment options and supportive care.
- Coordinate care with internal and external providers including surgical and radiation oncology.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical research as appropriate.

During the OnDemand interview a question will appear on your screen and you will have time to consider each question before responding. QualificationsConsideration will be given to those applicants with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferably in oncology. New Grads will be considered.
Nurse Practitioner: Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current AZ RN and APRN license and certification as a FNP or AGPCNP.
Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the AZ State Board of Medical Practice.
Additional Qualifications:
- Consideration will be given to those applicants with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferably in oncology. New Grads will be considered.
- Active BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross at start date and DEA registration required
- Strong communication organizational and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
