Operator BlendingLoading Lead

OurMetairie LAbranch is currently seeking anOperator Blending/Loading Lead. As a Lead you will be responsible for receiving sampling and unloading all inbound bulk shipments of used oil by rail and truck as well as overseeing other Blending & Unloading Operators. This individual will work within all local state and federal rules and regulations; and follow all Safety-Kleen policies and procedures.

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Review paperwork to insure compliance with company governmental rules and regulations
• Sample all inbound rail cars trucks and trailers
• Prepare the sample and submit for lab analysis
• Prepares paperwork receipts for filing and processing
• Unload rail cars trucks and trailers into the used oil receiving tanks
• Supervise other Blending & Unloading Operators distribute workloads
• General housekeeping of the facility
• Other duties as required

What does it take to work for Safety-Kleen

• 2-3 years loading/unloading and chemical blending experience preferred
• 3 years supervisory Lead or Foreman experience in a production environment preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to work in hot and cold weather conditions
• Basic computer knowledge
• Work well in a team environment
