The Ecommerce Supervisor (Hybrid) will assist in the oversight and accomplishment of division objectives by supervising staff and organizing and monitoring work processes. They will also assist with the identification and recommendation of improvements in automation and technology as well as procedures for assisting and educating staff customers and business partners.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Accomplish department objectives by supervising staff assigning and monitoring work processes ensuring that employees understand their duties and delegated tasks.
- Maintain staff by recruiting selecting orienting and training employees and developing personal growth opportunities.
- Monitor employee productivity and provide clear and regular performance feedback and coaching.
- Develop strategic and professional development goals for staff.
- Document performance feedback and other personnel matters.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises.
- Knowledge of leave policies and coordinating with HR.
- Set and approve employees work schedule.
- Verify and approve timekeeping records and consult employees about any discrepancies.
- Develop team strategy and support the creation and execution of divisional business plans.
- Implement standards resolve operation problems and implement new procedures.
- Oversee the execution of agency support requests.
- Oversee the support of agency quoting and service needs from home office and agency office.
- Oversee product offerings through real time and comparative raters.
- Oversee the adherence to ACORD AL3 with new implementations for real time download and comparative raters.
- Collaborate with agents vendors and IT staff on automation and technology recommendations implementations and issue resolution.
- Identify and implement new product offerings through real time and comparative raters.
- Provide quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards.
- Evaluate key performance indicators and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Development of divisional budget and monitoring of expenditures.
- Research and keep current on key technology and trends through publications seminars user groups and conferences.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Experience in the insurance industry
Qualifications/Skills:
- Thorough technical and functional knowledge and understanding of the organization systems and applications.
- Thorough understanding of underwriting claims and accounts processes as they relate to the organization.
- Organizational time management prioritization detail oriented and accuracy and precision skills.
- Good logical thinking analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Good leadership skills with ability to mentor coach and handle conflict/controversy/difficult conversations with staff.
- Good oral listening and written communication skills.
- Professional attitude and ability to effectively handle stress.
- Professional and positive attitude toward change and ability to motivate staff.
