Experience Design Director Beauty
As Experience Design Director - Beauty you have the opportunity to lead a winning end-to-end experience design team that is well integrated and recognized in our Personal Health Grooming and Beauty (G&B) business.
Your role:
- Drive solution creation thinking holistically in eco-systems and end-to-end experiences covering product digital solutions packaging and communication from direction setting to feasibility checks in implementation.
- Create user focused strategies innovations and experiences leveraging user testing and validation considering usability sustainability and appropriate visual and verbal articulation in line with Brand guidelines.
- Drive operational excellence and efficiency delivering appropriate design quality within budget and project parameters.
- Partner and co-create with internal and external stakeholders with clear and impactful communication.
- Challengethe status quo to inspire innovation and a step-up in value towards the user.
Youre the right fit if:
- Youve acquired 10 years of relevant experience in one or more relevant business domains and in one or more markets and cultures.
- Your skills include:
- You are a T-shaped Design leader with proven track record in orchestrating end-to-end experiences (across Product UX user interaction and service design).
- You have excellent analytical & conceptual skills to increase domain knowledge create relevant insights leading to meaningful and innovative solutions that appropriately address user-needs.
- You have successfully led multidisciplinary teams and partnered with functional leaders in product digital and communication design.
- You have experience leading product and solution design processes from idea to technical realization.
- You have in-depth knowledge of designing small or stand-alone electronic devices including product and service combinations.
- You can create impactful visual languages and understand the meaning and effect of these on the brand audience market and culture.
- You are continuously aware of current trends through fashion art design and digital related products through market research.
- You have a Bachelor or Masters Degree in product or product-interaction design or similar.
- You have a professional ambitious and collaborative mindset. You have a strong narrative ability in visual verbal and written communication. You communicate fluently in English Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus and are able to cooperate and influence business stakeholders.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
This is an office role.
