Business Development Manager
Position Description
Position Summary
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying pursuing and securing new business opportunities within healthcare staffing. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) this role focuses on generating leads building client relationships and securing new staffing contracts while collaborating with account managers to ensure long-term client satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new client opportunities (hospitals IHS federal agencies clinics and long-term care facilities).
- Research government solicitations and RFPs; support proposal preparation.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of healthcare staffing opportunities.
- Partner with account managers to transition new clients and support contract fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate activity tracking in CRM systems.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Leverage relationships to aid in the building of referral accounts and contacts.
Knowledge Skills Abilities and Other Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have .
- 25 years of experience in sales business development or staffing (healthcare preferred).
- Knowledge of federal contracts IHS or healthcare operations is a plus.
- Strong communication prospecting and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated results-driven and collaborative team player.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%
