What youll do:
Protect and enhance the firms reputation by driving proactive media coverage and integrated communication strategies.
Collaborate with firm leaders to position the brands commitment to clients people and the community.
Support the delivery of the firms media and communication strategy by building and leveraging extensive networks.
Serve as a key point of contact for journalists managing inquiries and ensuring a coherent media narrative.
Develop media plans manage crisis scenarios with a strong risk perspective and contribute to digital and social media strategies.
What were looking for:
Demonstrate expertise in external and corporate affairs effectively applying media coverage to support the firms objectives.
Utilize strong skills in strategic communication and journalism to craft compelling stories and manage diverse scenarios.
Thrive in a high-energy fast-paced environment engaging with a variety of issues and topics relevant to PwC Australias work.
Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills including proficiency in media release writing copywriting and editing.
Collaborate well with others leveraging experience from journalism media corporate communications social media or political/regulatory roles to enhance stakeholder management and story pitching.
What would you be focused on
In this role youll get to drive media coverage and content across lots of key industries supporting our core capabilities (such as Tax Assurance and Advisory) and our rapidly evolving market priority areas of AI Climate Trust and Business Model Reinvention. Youll also get to work on some meaty issues end-to-end which means supporting our internal and external stakeholders. Along with the Executive and business lines our team works hand-in-glove with our fabulous internal communications team Government & Regulatory Affairs Clients & Markets Risk & Ethics People & Culture and many more!
