Job Summary
Software Test Professional/Engineer
Onsite Houston Texas / Hybrid role
Position Summary
The Software Test Professional ensures the quality and reliability of software by designing and executing test plans collaborating with development teams and reporting defects.Main Responsibilities
- Create and run test plans and cases for both hardware and software systems.
- Use manual and automated approaches to test embedded and Windows-based applications.
- Report and track defects using tools like JIRA and generate clear test reports.
- Develop automated test scripts with languages such as Python C/C and C#.
- Work closely with other engineers and contribute to documentation and code reviews.
Qualifications
- At least three years of software module and Windows-based application testing experience.
- Proficiency in Python C/C and C#.
- Experience with test automation tools version control (e.g. Git) and Agile tools (Jira Confluence Bitbucket).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and industrial networking protocols (TCP/IP Modbus OPC).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
