SUMMARY:
The Accountant will use business and accounting skills to maintain and evaluate operational data for the Armstrong - Tulsa agency. The Accountant is responsible for agency level accounting functions including but not limited to general accounting payables & receivables financial reporting spend analysis material & labor variance analysis billing & invoicing and forecasting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Financial responsibilities include General Ledgers Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Billing and Invoicing Revenue Distribution and Financial Reporting.
- Ensure all defined work is performed within the timeframes allotted for each functional financial process.
- Ensure all billing functions including invoicing revenue distribution and ratings are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure compliance with all accounting and financial policies practices procedures and initiatives at the Plant level.
- Manage all accounting bookkeeping and financial matters.
- Any other duties as assigned by the manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in accounting business accounting or finance preferred.
- Understanding of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures.
- 2 years of accounting work experience preferred.
- Moderate to Advanced-user experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Excel Word) preferred.
- Experience with NetSuite software preferred.
- Ability and willingness to keep maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to multitask prioritize and organize efficiently.
