Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Guest Laundry Attendant to join our team in Baghdad Iraq. As a Guest Laundry Attendant you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have clean fresh linens and clothing during their stay. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can provide exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Operate laundry equipment including washers dryers and folding machines
- Sort wash dry and fold guest laundry according to specific instructions and hotel standards
- Ensure proper handling of delicate fabrics and special care items
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area
- Track and record guest laundry orders using our computerized system
- Deliver clean laundry to guest rooms in a timely manner
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and requests
- Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the supervisor
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in laundry services or hospitality is a plus
- Proficiency in operating various laundry equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific care instructions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills for tracking and recording orders
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Friendly and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
