Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Clinic Support this role you will schedule and book outpatient appointments admit patients collect personal information and enter data into the health system. You will also handle clerical duties including filing typing answering calls and maintaining office supplies. Additionally you will coordinate with physicians offices provide pre-appointment instructions and generate operational reports. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential.
What You Bring
Education
- Grade 12 two years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to keyboard at 40 wpm.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to organize work.
- Ability to operate related equipment.

Your Day to Day:
Book confirm and reschedule patient appointments.
Enter patient details and ensure records are complete before appointments.
Contact patients and staff to share test results and appointment info.
Interview patients collect forms and explain consent for treatment.
Answer calls greet patients and direct them to the right places.
Create and organize patient files and pull records when needed.
Type documents handle data entry and manage office tasks.
Book diagnostic tests and give patients prep instructions.
Help with OR forms and requisitions.
Prepare reports and keep work areas clean.
