EnergyCo Policy and Strategy team is seeking a Manager Network Access to join us in designing and delivering policies that will shape the future of renewable energy in NSW.
EnergyCo NSW is spearheading the transition to renewable energy to deliver clean electricity to the people of NSW as coal-fired power stations near closure.

Beyond the banter this is serious purpose-driven work and the EnergyCo Policy and Strategy team is seeking a Manager Network Access to join us in designing and delivering policies that will shape the future of renewable energy in NSW.
Youll lead the development implementation and management of access schemes within Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) to support wind solar and battery projects critical to mitigating climate change. Working closely with key partners - from the ASL and Energy group within DCCEEW to industry stakeholders - youll provide expert advice coordinate access scheme activities and make sure processes and systems are in place to run these schemes effectively. If youre a natural collaborator who loves a good laugh but is deeply committed to building a cleaner energy future this is the role for you!
About You
Youre someone who thrives in a busy fast-paced environment where no two days are the same flexible when things shift quick to reprioritise and always focused on getting things done. Youre just as comfortable designing policy as you are delivering a complex program of work managing contracts or advising senior stakeholders. With strong strategic thinking skills and a natural ability to build relationships you know how to bring people together to align on direction and deliver results.
You excel at managing key stakeholder relationships and can balance long-term strategic goals with the operational demands of day-to-day a working environment youre a steady hand and an influential communicator who helps keep messaging consistent and cohesive. Ideally youll bring experience from the energy or government sector but above all you show initiative collaborate with intent and bring a practical lets make it happen attitude to everything you do.

Who we are
The Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is a statutory corporation established under the Energy and Utilities Administration Act 1987 and governed by its Board appointed by the Minister for Energy. EnergyCo is a Staff Agency employing all EnergyCo staff and is an agency related to the Department of Climate Change Energy the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).
EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Governments Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap which aims to transform the states electricity system into one that is cheap clean and reliable. As Infrastructure Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020 EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of the States first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority transmission infrastructure projects (PTIPs) which are located in the Central-West Orana New England South West Hunter-Central Coast and Illawarra regions. We work closely with communities investors and industry to investigate plan recommend and coordinate generation storage and network infrastructure projects.
