Job Summary
As Associate Software Engineer youll perform computer programming activities to include coding tasks. Work involves assisting in analyzing developing troubleshooting and fixing issues; preparing automating and deploying cloud solutions; and testing monitoring and evolving cloud solutions.

What youll do:
- Youll work in an agile environment as part of a full design and development team participating in scrum ceremonies interacting with and supporting our customers.
- Youll support the team in deploying maintaining and troubleshooting solutions.
- Youll prepare technical specifications for solutions to be written design code test debug and document solutions.
- Youll code test and debug solutions as outlined by technical and functional requirements.
- Youll assist in the development of business requirements and perform solution analysis design and programming.
- Youll participate in code reviews to evolve code practices and solution code bases.
- Youll research cloud technologies to create proof of concepts prototypes and MVPs.
What youll need to succeed:
- A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and at least one previous internship.
- Excellent understanding of computer algorithms data structures and communication skills.
- Experience with API development web application development and data analytics development (via internship experience)
- Experience working with SaaS and PaaS by cloud providers (e.g. AWS Azure GCP).
- Have an active Secret clearance or the ability obtain a clearance
SALARY RANGE: $64000 - $70000
The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications skills and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:
- The candidates professional background and relevant work experience
- The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
- Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
- This role is also eligible for additional compensation subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar which may include:
- Performance-based bonuses
- Company-paid training and/or certifications
- Referral bonuses
