Summary:

The Software Engineer (SWE) will provide functional and empirical analysis in support of the design development and implementation of software systems. This role supports a wide range of software solutions and engineering activities and is a full-time on-site position located at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG).

Job Qualifications:

Minimum of nine (9) years of professional experience within the last fifteen (15) years.
Experience providing functional and empirical analysis related to the design development and implementation of software systems including application software utility software development tools and diagnostic software.
Experience participating in the development of test strategies test devices and system-level testing activities.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex engineering problems or manage the resolution of engineering problems within the assigned functional area.
Experience supporting software engineering efforts across the full software development lifecycle.

Education/Experience include:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Electronics Engineering or another Engineering or Technical discipline.

Working Conditions:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Requires a current TS/SCI. Employment is contingent on having or obtaining the required active security clearance or successfully passing the required background check as well as other factors including but not limited to drug screens.
