Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is seeking four (4) Capital Projects Coordinators to join the Development Services Office (DSO). These positions will coordinate utility system improvement contracts including new contracts for drainage and wastewater between SPU and the development community requiring water drainage and wastewater system improvements for their projects. This includes understanding the administration of system development charges reconciling system improvement contracts post construction and reimbursing developers under SPUs new Participatory Latecomer Agreement Program. This team will also be responsible for issuing Water Availability Certificates including drainage and wastewater requirements integral to the issuance of building permits facilitating new commercial and residential development in the SPU service area.

Experience:Minimum of three (3) years in project or construction management or a related field.
Education: Bachelors degree in Architecture Engineering Business Administration Urban Planning or a related field.
Experience and Education Equivalency:A combination of education training certification and experience that provides the necessary background to perform the role.

Workplace Environment: This position allows for the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule. Employees will be required to come into the office three times a week. Individual schedules will be agreed upon by the employee and their supervisor.
The full salary range for this position is $54.02 - $63.14 per hour.
