- Train on various Housekeeping roles
- Skills focused on:
- Learning the position details of the Housekeeping department (i.e. Room Attendant Laundry PAC Houseperson Turndown Supervisor/Inspector Director of Housekeeping)
- Understanding daily operational duties of Supervisor & Director of Housekeeping
Primary Focus Execution of Departmental Roles & Management Shadow
- Both AM/PM Shifts work department roles as schedule needs
- Shadow Front Office/Housekeeping Management (i.e. Andrew Kelvin Lynette Ardis Housekeeping & Front Desk Supervisors)
- Front Office Skills focused on:
- Scheduling (management vs. hourly)
- Management skills
- Open folio requisition
- Back end of Opera
- Room blocks
- Handling guest complaints
- Revenue Management
- Housekeeping Skills focus on:
- Building Housekeeping Boards
- Handling guest complaints
- Execute the inspection of guest rooms
- Shadow coaching opportunities for room inspections
- Participate in daily pre-shift meetings
- Attend 9:00 AM management stand up with assigned manager
- Complete special project as assigned
