Job Title: The Mountain Camp Cafe Supervisor (Age 21)

Reports To: Mountain Camp Cafe Seasonal Manager
Rate of Pay: $18.00/hr Tips
Shift: Part-time Seasonal position
Variable AM/PM shifts Sunday through Saturday
Weekends and holidays required
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly
SUMMARY
Responsible for creating an exceptional Sundance experience by providing consistent friendly professional and timely service of food and beverages at the Mountain Camp Café.
Major Duties:
- Supervise train and direct employees during assigned shifts.
- Ensure compliance with company rules and procedures.
- Document incidents involving guests or employees accurately.
- Inspect employee appearance and hygiene.
- Hold daily briefings to update staff on procedures.
- Maintain a safe and positive work environment promoting teamwork.
- Provide courteous service to guests vendors and employees.
- Address guest complaints and handle service recovery as needed.
- Serve food and beverages following menu knowledge and handling orders via the Point of Sale system.
- Assist guests with inquiries reservations and ensure a cheerful disposition.
- Perform daily side work and assist with other duties as assigned.
- Handle cash transactions following department policies.
- Bus and reset tables efficiently.
- Stay updated on resort events and hours of operation.
Product Quality:
- Consistently prepare beverages to company standards.
- Adhere to recipes and maintain top product presentation.
- Educate guests on products and services.
Alcoholic Beverages:
- Understand and comply with Utah alcohol laws.
- Serve alcohol responsibly and complete necessary paperwork.
- Communicate beverage options knowledgeably to guests and staff.
Other Duties:
- Clean and maintain work areas keeping them in good repair.
- Stock supplies and maintain a safe sanitary workplace.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Interview hire train and manage staff performance.
- Handle employee issues including discipline and recognition.
- Complete related paperwork and submit it to HR promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent education/experience.
- Food handlers permit and Tips & Sips alcohol service permit required within 30 days of hire.
- Must pass a UDABC background check.
- Must have a clean and clear driving record and capable of driving a Sundance vehicle.
