Were looking for a skilled and reliable Journeyperson Electrician to join our team in Edmonton. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a crew.
Overview of Responsibilities:
- Perform assigned tasks and responsibilities efficiently and effectively under the direction of the Field Superintendent.
- Service repair and maintain a wide variety of Electrical systems including fire alarm building controls and data.
- Electrical troubleshooting with a strong knowledge of how HVAC and plumbing systems operate.
- Maintenance service and replacement or repair of motor control centers switches breakers switchboard components fixtures branch circuit wiring transformers motors BAS wiring.
- Installing conduit systems.
- Shut-down lock-out and start-up of major building equipment.
- Provide onsite estimating assistance and order material.
- Electrical installations including EV charging infrastructure lighting upgrades panel replacements service upgrades and small projects.
- Provide electrical support for the HVAC/R and Plumbing teams.
- Operate and maintain a well inventoried company service vehicle.
- Ability to adhere and uphold the safety protocols and measures put in place by Modern Niagara to ensure the safety of all employees
