Job Summary

HMR is a national contractor providing underground and surface drilling mining and raiseboring services to clients across Australia.

Role Summary

We are currently seeking experienced Surface and Underground Diamond Drillers to join our team for work in Western Australia.

If you are an experienced Diamond Driller for surface or underground roles we want to hear from youoperate rigs achieve production targets and make every core count!

Key Details

Rosters: 7/7 & 14/7 & 14/14
Competitive hourly rates
Full-time permanent positions
Residential in Kalgoorlie or FIFO from Perth
Underground and surface work available
Accommodation & messing provided

Key Responsibilities:

Competently operate HMRs range of drill rigs including Skid Steer Mobile Rigs and Longyear platform drill rigs
- Underground drill rigs LM90 LM110
- Surface drill rigs UDR 1200 UDR1000 and LF90D
Understanding of geological formations and core sampling methods.
Mentor and train Drill Assistants
Perform daily checks and maintenance on drilling equipment to ensure smooth operation.
Ensuring all personnel comply with current HSE Regulations and any site-specific rules or regulations which may apply with various site operations.

Qualifications / Requirements

Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
Ability to meet pre-employment medical drug & alcohol screening
Police clearance (within 6 months)
First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Manual Drivers Licence (required for underground roles)
HR Licence (required for surface roles)
Cert II or III in Drilling Operations (Cert IV highly regarded)
