Key Responsibilities
Human Resources and Compliance
- Administer employee benefits open enrollment workers compensation and leave programs
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes including paperwork safety training and system setup
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws
- Process payroll and collaborate with managers on timekeeping wage updates and reports
- Monitor changes in employment laws and update company policies accordingly
- Support employee relations performance management and documentation needs
Customer Service and Office Administration
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers providing professional and responsive communication
- Accurately enter and manage customer orders from confirmation to delivery coordination
- Work with production and shipping teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Handle invoicing order tracking and issue resolution
- Manage office supplies mail distribution and vendor relationships
- Oversee company fleet and driver compliance including vehicle maintenance and insurance tracking
- Maintain fixed asset documentation and related records
Accounting Oversight and Support
- Supervise daily accounting functions and provide backup for accounts payable receivable and reconciliations
- Assist with financial reporting audits and budgeting processes
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of office management experience with HR responsibilities
- Background in manufacturing or a similar operational environment
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing benefits administration and basic accounting principles
- Excellent organizational communication and problem-solving skills
