Location

Albion Michigan On-site at our modern manufacturing and engineering facility where design meets production.

Note

Candidates must have professional experience using CAD software (AutoCAD SolidWorks or equivalent) to produce technical drawings for engineering or manufacturing projects.

Job Description

Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models for solar racking structural and mechanical systems.
Translate engineering concepts and sketches into accurate technical designs ready for production.
Collaborate closely with engineers and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are efficient accurate and manufacturable.
Revise and update drawings based on feedback design changes and quality standards.
Maintain organized drawing files documentation and revision histories.
Support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a CAD Drafter in an engineering construction or manufacturing setting.
Proficiency in AutoCAD SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
Strong attention to detail and understanding of design standards tolerances and fabrication processes.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings specifications and blueprints.
Associates degree or technical certificate in Drafting Mechanical Design or related field preferred.
