About the Team
The Prototyping team is responsible for Miro Prototypes a set of AI-powered features that enable users to generate interactive prototypes from prompts images sticky notes or spec documentswithin minutes. We focus on turning early-stage ideas into shareable collaborative visuals that accelerate the product design process. By combining generative AI with intuitive workflows our goal is to empower product teams to move from brief to interactive flow quickly iterate fast and align visually across teams.
About the Role
Were looking for a frontend-focused Full Stack Engineer to join the Prototyping team where we build AI-powered tools that turn prompts images and notes into interactive this role youll collaborate closely with designers PMs and AI/ML engineers to deliver seamless intuitive user experiences. Youll work across the stack - building rich interfaces with React and TypeScript and integrating backend services in Kotlin - to bring new features to life. This is a high-impact role suited for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments enjoys rapid iteration and is passionate about pushing the boundaries of AI-powered product experiences.
What youll do
- Build intuitive AI-powered prototyping features using React TypeScript and Kotlin enabling users to go from brief to interactive flow in minutes
- Collaborate closely with design product and AI/ML teams to prototype ship and iterate on user-facing features at speed
- Translate fuzzy user problems and early concepts into well-scoped technical implementation plans
- Own frontend components end-to-end from architecture and implementation to testing performance and monitoring
- Participate in code reviews technical planning and shaping best practices that raise the engineering bar
What youll need
- 5 years of professional experience in full-stack development
- Solid frontend skills with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (e.g. React) and backend development experience (Java and/or Kotlin preferred)
- Experience in building AI-powered digital products
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with product and design driving alignment and delivering impact
- Collaborative and communicative comfortable working across disciplines to align engineering with product goals
- Detail-oriented without losing sight of the big picture balancing technical excellence with delivery
- Growth-oriented mindset with openness to feedback and a drive for continuous improvement
- Empathetic towards users and teammates with a strong sense of responsibility for product quality and team success
