Financial Analyst
Job Summary

The Financial Analyst is a key member of the FP&A team responsible for supporting accurate revenue reporting and ensuring the financial integrity of project data across the organization. Working closely with both Finance and Business teams the Financial Analyst reviews project details resolves issues and ensures adherence to internal financial policies. Success in this position requires strong revenue recognition knowledge exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced professional services environment.
What you can expect to be doing:
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of project financial data by reviewing project setup updates and closeout information in internal systems
- Drive compliance with internal financial policies by actively monitoring revenuerelated controls identifying and escalating risks and supporting continuous process improvements
- Conduct timely reviews and followups with Finance and Business teams to resolve issues and maintain alignment across functions
- Apply deep understanding of revenue recognition principles to assess project setup identify risks and ensure project dynamics align with proper revenue reporting
- Support FP&A deliverables including revenue forecasting variance analysis and monthend close activities
- Manage multiple moving parts across a large portfolio of projects with strong organization and prioritization
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail by identifying anomalies investigating root causes and proposing solutions
- Serve as a proactive problem solver who supports process enhancements and strengthens financial accuracy
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels and communicate financial concepts clearly and effectively.
This might be the job for you if you have:
- 35 years of relevant experience in financial analysis revenue accounting project accounting or similar roles
- Accounting designation preferred or working toward completion
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to nonfinancial audiences
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfort interacting with senior leaders project managers and crossfunctional teams
- Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fastpaced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Advanced Excel skills and a strong inclination toward digital and technology tools

In accordance with Ontario & British Columbia law the estimated base salary range for this role is $55000 - $65000 CAD. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discrimatory factors which may include but are not limited to location work experience skills knowledge education and/or certifications.
