VISTA Technology Services Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking a Senior Ship Sustainment Manager to support our NAVSEA customer. This is a hybrid position reporting onsite 3days a week in Washington DC.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated results-oriented leader with DoD program management (PM) experience supporting NAVSEA ACAT I new ship construction / modernization or shipbuilding programs.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Sustainment Manager will support NAVSEAprogram officesuccess through careful analysis and effective communicationand will implement and maintain organizational programs in support of Navy clients and organizational Department of Defense (DoD) system sustainment strategies. They will also:
- Work with key stakeholders to review maintenance and sustainment contracts and project costs for ship platforms in post-delivery and T&E phases to final inspection to certifydelivery to the fleet
- Assist with strategic and tactical planning and reporting using resources like MS Project and Power-Bi applications requiring regular interactions with system stakeholders SMEs schedulers and project analysts
- Demonstrate strong and effective communication skills ensuring the program achieves mission goals and meets quality standards
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree business engineering or related field
- 10 years of DoD ACAT I technical program / projectmanagementand/or fleet product support management experience
- 2 years of direct level PM support for New Ship Construction or Shipbuildingexperienceincluding engaging with and briefing senior leadership and stakeholders daily
- DoD ship design production post-delivery T&E experience for ACAT I new construction and/or modernization programs
- Knowledge of Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements and Federal Acquisition processes
- Knowledge of military or commercial unmanned systems
- Ability to develop senior IPS or PM products
- Active DoD Secret clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Unmanned Maritime System (UMS) Acquisition or UMS Sustainment Management
- Masters degree in Program Management Acquisition Business or a related field
- PMP or SCRUM Certification
Salary at VISTA is determined by various factors including but not limited to location the individuals particular combination of education knowledge skills competencies and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $140000.00 to $165000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of VISTAs total compensation package for employees.
