Position Highlights

Spencer Hospital is a rural hospitallocated in northwest Iowa employing over 500 employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers if accepted are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.

Responsibilities:

Assembles appropriate food and performs other necessary food service needs for all customers.
Maintains a clean/neat safe environment in work areas following appropriate sanitation practices.
Keeps assigned work area stocked with supplies and equipment.

Requirements:

Must have excellent communication skills a caring attitude and be a team player
Comfortable engaging with patients visitors co-workers
Must be able to work every other weekend

Schedule:

Scheduled every other weekend Sat & Sun
80 hours a pay period
8 hour shifts
11a-7:30p
Every other holiday
The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department
