Your Impact

We are looking for a Field Service Technician Texas who will contribute to the success of the Field Service Team applying their expertise in Service to support the achievement of team and company goals and deliver innovative reliable this role the successful candidate will collaborate effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills and maintain a commitment to professional excellence quality and continuous improvement.

The Role

As a Field Service Technician youll be addressing Particle Measuring Systems customer equipment maintenance and repair needs. The position is tasked with assuring customer satisfaction through timely and efficient maintenance and repair and continual improvement in the quality of our products and services. This position will be travelling in nature covering a variety of PMS customers in North America.

Job Responsibilities

• Calibrating troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment.
• Supporting customer calibration and maintenance of Particle Measuring Systems micro-contamination monitoring equipment.
• Researching customer problems and complaints.
• Acting as a liaison between customers and various departments.
• Continuously evaluate processes for improvements in efficiency quality and safety.

Required Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electronics or military equivalent
• Ability to read schematics in English
• Ability to trouble shoot with minimal guidance
• Knowledge of lasers and/or collecting and condensing optics helpful but not required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Team player focused on customer satisfaction and quality with a sense of urgency
• Required skills: communication collaboration organization etc.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• This is a field position located in the Texas area.
• Travel - Over 50% travel to customer sites required.
• Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. may be required

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive $27.95 42.90 per hour depending upon experience
