The Opportunity

At Aurora Energy were looking for a proactive and forward-thinking HR Operations Lead to join our People Team in Dunedin.

This role is all about strengthening how we deliver HR services across the organisation. Youll partner with managers and leaders to provide trusted advice build capability and help shape people practices that support our enterprise goals. Working at the heart of the business youll make a real difference by ensuring our HR systems processes and ways of working continue to evolve. Using data and insights youll help create efficient responsive and future-ready HR solutions.

Were seeking someone curious and energised by continuous improvement with a genuine interest in how technology and AI are shaping the future of work.

About You

Were open to a range of backgrounds and experiences. Ideally youll bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in HR operations or a generalist HR role ideally within a complex or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong coaching skills and confidence working with managers and leaders.
  • A practical outcomes-focused approach to enabling business success.
  • Experience using HR systems and data to inform decisions.
  • Interest in emerging technologies including AI and their impact on workplaces.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A collaborative style and a passion for enhancing the employee experience.
