Job Summary
Job Description: Database Administrator
Job Responsibilities:
- Design implement and maintain database systems for the organization
- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing backup and recovery procedures
- Optimize database performance through monitoring tuning and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with software developers and other IT professionals to ensure database compatibility and efficiency
- Create and manage database reports documentation and policies
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g. MySQL Oracle SQL Server)
- Proficiency in SQL programming and database design
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in database administration
- Experience with cloud-based database platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Certifications in database management (e.g. Oracle Certified Professional)
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $110000 - $145000 per year
