Job Summary:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on a PRN basis you will provide essential support to patients by assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible work hours in various healthcare settings including nursing homes assisted living facilities and hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:

Personal Care Assistance: Aid patients with daily activities such as bathing dressing grooming toileting and feeding.
Mobility Support: Assist patients with movement including transfers repositioning and ambulation.
Vital Signs Monitoring: Measure and record vital signs like temperature blood pressure pulse and respiration rates.
Patient Observation: Monitor patients for changes in condition and report findings to nursing staff.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care and observations.
Supportive Communication: Provide emotional support and companionship to patients fostering a compassionate environment.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent.
Current CNA certification in the state of New Jersey.
CPR/BLS certification.
Minimum 6 months of CNA experience.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
