Summary:
-
Perform precision drilling reaming installation and removal of components in critical structural areas including blind holes.
-
Apply sealants paint and preservation materials in accordance with standard repair procedures.
-
Interpret engineering drawings technical orders and specifications to complete structural repairs and modifications.
-
Use tooling assemblies and fixtures to support depot-level structural modifications.
Requirements:
-
Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience performing heavy structural work on aircraft (depending on location).
-
Skilled in aircraft structural repairs modifications and interpreting technical documentation.
-
Proficient with aircraft tools schematics and repair procedures.
-
Must be able to obtain customer approval for aircraft access (note: dual citizenship may restrict access).

Physically able to climb ladders work in confined spaces and lift up to 35 lbs.
-
Comfortable working at heights and using required personal protective equipment (PPE).
-
Must pass visual acuity and color perception tests.
-
Must pass plate test

Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations.
Desired Skills:
-
FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant (A&P) certification is a plus.
-
Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical components including sheet metal and structural systems.
-
Familiarity with accessing and managing digital work instructions and parts requisitions.
-
Experience operating specialized tools (e.g. torque wrenches micrometers) and ground support equipment (e.g. cranes forklifts).
-
Capable of mentoring and guiding junior technicians during maintenance and modification activities.
